Upscayl is a website that uses state-of-the-art AI to help you turn low-resolution images into high-resolution ones. It’s free and open-source, and it’s available for Linux, MacOS, and Windows2.
Upscayl is built with a Linux-First philosophy, which means that Linux users receive pre-release builds earlier, but the application itself is available on all major desktop operating systems. You’ll need a Vulkan compatible GPU to upscale images using Upscayl.
